Found a code in your equipment box?

That card gives you TuneBox, the Windows app that measures the room, equalizes your speakers, aligns the delay between them and keeps feedback under control — using the computer you already have. Three steps: create your account, download the app and activate the code inside it.

There is no deadline to activate the code: today or a year from now works the same.

Step by step

How to activate your code

  1. Create your account on the site
The license is registered to whoever activates it, so an account is required — it is what lets you recover the license, move to another computer and get support. It is free and takes a minute: a valid e-mail and a password.
  2. Download TuneBox for Windows
The installer is the same for everyone: there is no special build per equipment. You will need a Windows PC and a compatible audio interface to run the sound.
  3. Open the app and activate
On first launch TuneBox asks for the code on the card and the e-mail of your account. Enter both exactly as they are. Activation is the only moment the app needs an internet connection.
  4. Done: everything else runs offline
Once activated, TuneBox works with no internet at the venue. If the computer reboots mid-show, you are back to the calibrated sound in minutes, with nothing to redo.
Use the same e-mail in both places. The e-mail on your account is what ties the code to your license. Enter a different one when activating and the app will refuse it — that is not a problem with the code.

How long can I use it?

It depends on the card that came with your equipment: some codes grant use for a set period, others grant a permanent license. What yours gives you is written on the card itself and shows up in your account as soon as you activate. If it is for a set period, you can keep going afterwards by renewing on the site.

What if I take a while to activate?

No problem. The code does not expire while it is unactivated: the usage period, when there is one, only starts counting on the day you activate. Gear that sat in a store for months activates normally.

Questions

What people usually ask

Do I have to pay anything?

No. The code in the box was already paid for by whoever made your equipment, and creating the account is free.

I lost the card with the code. Now what?

If you had already activated it, just sign in: the license is in your account and the code is no longer needed. If you had not activated it yet, talk to the store or to whoever made the equipment — the cards are controlled by them.

Can I use it on more than one computer?

The license runs on one computer at a time, and you can move it to another from within the app, as many times as you need. Changing laptops costs nothing and does not require a new code.

Does it work on Mac or on a phone?

No. TuneBox is a Windows application: it runs your event sound in real time, with an audio interface connected to the PC.

Can someone else use the code?

The code belongs to the first account that activates it. If the equipment is resold before any activation, the card goes with it.

Who helps me if something goes wrong?

We do. App support comes from TuneBox, not from the store or the company that made your equipment. Write to us through the support page.

Stuck on one of the steps?

The support page has the contact options, and the Learn area shows on video how to connect everything and run the first room measurement.
