Privacy Policy

This policy describes how TuneBox — software and website operated by Aprimore Ltda (Brazilian company ID CNPJ 39.934.646/0001-81, Campinas/SP, Brazil) — collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).

Account data

To create an account we ask for your name and email; phone and tax ID are optional. Your password is stored only as a cryptographic hash. We use this data to maintain your account, issue and manage licenses, enable downloads, provide support and send communications about your account.

Payments

Payments are processed by Mercado Pago. We do not collect or store card data: we keep only the order record (product, amount, status and transaction references) needed to issue the license, provide support and meet tax obligations.

Technical data from the app

For licensing to work and to improve the product, the TuneBox app sends technical events to our server: a computer identifier (which the server stores in summarized form as a hash code), the computer name, launch and activation events, the app and Windows versions, the connection IP address, and the date and time.

This data is used exclusively to activate and validate licenses, diagnose problems, understand where users get stuck and improve TuneBox. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Cookies and visit origin

The website uses cookies for the login session, the language preference and, when you arrive through a partner store link, a referral cookie valid for up to 90 days, used to attribute the sale correctly. We also record campaign parameters (such as UTMs) and may use audience measurement tools (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel), which have their own privacy policies.

Approximate location

We use your IP address to estimate your country and set the display language and currency. This lookup is done against a local database (GeoLite2), without sending your IP to third parties for this purpose.

How long we keep data

Technical records (downloads, activation attempts and app usage events) are automatically deleted after about 90 days; we keep only a minimal, permanent record of the first launch per computer, needed for license control and aggregate statistics. Account, license and order data are kept while the account exists and for the periods required by legal and tax obligations.

Sharing

We share data only with those who need it for the service to work: Mercado Pago (payment processing), the website hosting provider, and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights (LGPD)

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion of your data, portability and information about sharing, and you may revoke consent. Just write to aprimore@tunebox.app.br. Please note: if you request the deletion of data essential to maintaining your licenses (such as your account data), the corresponding licenses will be canceled, since they can no longer operate. Data required by legal and tax obligations is kept for the corresponding periods.

Emails

We send transactional emails (account validation, order confirmations, activation codes) and follow-up notices about your account and trial period. The content of the messages is not stored on the website: we only record which automatic notices were sent and when. To stop receiving follow-up notices, reply to any of them asking us to stop.

Security

All traffic between your browser, the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as hashes, administrative access is restricted, and data is kept in a professional hosting environment.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the product or in the law. The current version will always be on this page, with the update date at the top.
